Spring Living History Weekend
Come enjoy our Living History Weekend at the museum on Main Street during the Gloucester Daffodil Festival!
“Fire, Smoke and Muskets” will be bringing the American Revolution to you on April 6-7. You can expect cannon and musket firing demonstrations, historical reenactors from the 7th Virginia regiment, and a fun learning experience for the whole family.
This is a free event that aligns with Standards of Learning (SOLs) for Virginia studies, the American Revolution, and the Franco-American Alliance.

International Women’s Day
Celebrate International Women’s Day at the Gloucester Museum of History!
Visit our museum to learn about Chief Powhatan’s daughter “Pocahontas” Amonute, Carrie Steele Price and her role in Gloucester’s Agricultural & Industrial School, and a 50-year milestone from The Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast.
